- HHH makes a jab at nobody in particular; Ospreay responds with a shot at HHH's wife
- Tony went on TV in front of millions and called WWE the evil rapist wrestling company
- AEW's numbers are now more dogshit than ever and continue to decline
I think Tony was setting all this up thinking the post-Wrestlemania casuals would tune into AEW to see the drama, but instead they tuned out altogether - and a large portion of AEW's shared audience went back to being WWE-exclusive.
If you want someone to blame, it's Tony Khan. He wasn't content to drive away viewers with long, heatless bangers on TV, he's now making the implication that if YOU watch WWE programming then YOU are also evil. You're not going to say some garbage like that and get away with it, the way you would taking potshots at Miz or Punk or whoever.
Actions have consequences.
