If a wrestler botches a move, or a soccer player miskicks a ball, or a baseball fielder drops a catch, then people who have never engaged with these sports are entitled to say 'lol you fucked up' because it's a natural response to a mistake you can clearly see.
I'll give an example of where your point makes sense: let's say Charlotte tries a moonsault off the top turnbuckle to the outside and fucks up the landing. Then a fat sweaty wrestling fan says
