You bring athletes in, see how things work out, if it's not working, we'll see you around. Maybe they bounce around the indies + find another wrestling school, and in a few years, they cycle back in. Maybe they choose a different line of work.
The name generator stuff and "literally WHO?" is funny for about 28 seconds, but IMO some people 1) don't know how/why NXT signings work, or 2) think other people can't articulate how NXT signings work and they see an opportunity to troll/grief. If you're #1, God bless ya, if you're #2, it's just clown behavior. Every major wrestling company is better when they have a feeder league to grab talent from - even better if they have their own wrestling school to find the occasional hidden gem.
