Like one of the things that constantly gets talked about in the NXT game threads is how despite how big he is and no matter what level he is performing at he still works and talks like some dude wrestling in front of a crowd of dozens in a bingo hall. Dijak has always been his own worst enemy in that regard. Shawn putting the reins on him and giving him a character that is something other than his personality has really helped Dijak a lot.
HARD JUSTICE worked because it played into Dijak's strengths while mitigating his weakness. He's big, fast, and can work stiff as fuck. He doesn't need to and shouldn't be spamming Canadian Destroyers and Poisonranas just because he can do them. Working a simple brawling style of a few power moves mixed in plays into his size. It also means that when he does bust out some extravagant move in a very rare occasion like with that moonsault of the top of the cage in his match with Gacy the move has more impact with the audience since it is rare.
Can't wait to see how HHH fucks up such a simple gimmick as HARD JUSTICE.
