I'm late, I'm watching episodes from early november. It has become really boring lately.
I still enjoy Ring Of Honor but I enjoyed it a lot more in the past months. All episodes are starting to look the same. And there is no storyline, just guys fighting for no reason.
I used to love AEW in its first years but it ran totally out of steam. Where are the fun feuds like Inner Circle vs The Elite?
Now the only very few storylines are boring and stupid.
And it's always the same heroes always winning, the same jobbers always losing. I'd like to be surprised for once!
The worst is that almost all the guys being pushed now are guys I don't like or don't care about... They have hundreds of other guys, why never using them? Maybe a brand split would help giving everyone some tv time.
At least I enjoy high flyers, but it's just guys doing cool acrobatics for no reason, no feud, there should be some kind of x-division belt and storylines.
Why can't Tony Khan hire a few writers and have some freaking storylines!!???
TNA has become so boring too. I thought Dango would do his funny investigator gimmick again, either with Joe Hendry or hopefully Tyler Breeze would debut, but instead he turned heel, a boring heel. We all were behind the japanese guy trying to become tag team champion with Joe Hendry, instead he went. PCO is entertaining but his feuds don't make sense. I thought Crazy Steeve betraying Tommy Dreamer would lead to some good hardcore match, but no it was boring. Sunny Kiss just arrived, I found him funny in AEW and he had moves of his own, but it seems that he'll be in the women division, not sure I'll enjoy that.
(As for WWE, I stopped watching in 2019, for the very same reason I find AEW and TNA boring now. I tried to watch it again and did not like it. All these new guys I don't know. Funnily I thought there was a lesbian couple but one of them turned out to be Rey Mysterio's son.)
Are things better six months later in may 2024?
