what WWE did to britwres and what AEW "did" to NJPW have zero in common if you know a single fact that goes beyond "guy went from one promotion to another"
top stars left NJPW because the japanese economy is crumbling. even if NJPW was as hot as it was pre-covid instead of being ice cold for the last 5 years, anyone who's good enough to be wanted by WWE and AEW will make several times more money than they would in japan. if bushiroad wants to keep their guys then they need to start competing in money, or they will lose everyone who has worldwide appeal.
i hope you were crying just as much when WWE signed nakamura, AJ, devitt, and anderson & gallows btw.
