My opinion on Sammy is that he's a great heel and his wrestling ability is definitely up to par.

Part of the reason he's such a great heel is how unlikeable of a person he is. But he wants to be liked so much and that hurts his character.

Malakai is leading the only faction that actually makes any sense in aew, although barely.
