Great post overall but this comment
>AEW Dynamite outdraws everything but WWE, Fox News, Spongebob, Sheldon, and Sportsis all over the place and is more counterfactual than factual. You list "Sheldon", which would indicate you're including non-original programming, but there's plenty of non-original programs that have a higher viewership and demographic than AEW.
It's worth noting that nearly everyone paying for Cable TV is also as a consequence paying for a full slate of Network TV channels (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX). So only counting cable shows on Wednesday as comps to Dynamite is very disingenuous, because it's not possible to get Cable TV a la carte the same way it is to get OTC Network TV. Shows like Tracker, Young Sheldon, etc, are competing for ad dollars with Raw, Smackdown and Dynamite. If companies feel like it's a better deal to air an ad for $50K on Tuesday instead of $20K during Dynamite, then they're going to spend the $50K on Tuesday. There is no rule or requirement for companies to spend 1/7th of their advertising budget on Wednesdays, or to target *every single* show with at least X or higher demo rating. The real world doesn't work that way.
https://www.nationalmediaspots.com/stats-us-cable-broadcast-tv-show-rankings.phpAll Elite Wrestling, in the grand scheme of things, was ranked 167. When you have to massage the data and add 9 different caveats to put it in the Top 3, you're working yourself into a shoot. I'm hoping AEW gets a good deal as well, but the reality is that 5 hours/week for $90M is a good deal, 5 hours for $190M is not a good deal.
