Just curious. If you guys have ever seen a Memphis wrestling or JCP studio wrestling show. Do you just assume all those guys only ever wrestled in front of 30 people? Or do you understand that only existed to sell tickets for untelevised events?

They would report less for the gate, more for the people, their books were absolutely cooked from all angles. You can watch "sell outs" of NWA shows where they've only got the lower bowl filled.

I miss studio wrestling. Dark kinda gave me that vibe, didn't have the good promos obviously, but I feel like studio wrestling could work on youtube.

I watched Powerrrrrrrr when it first started but I didn't really like how it was just trying to be like a retro parody. Was still largely alright though, but they really goofed up when they paywalled it after like three months

It's kinda funny how it's flipped around, now it's all about the TV deals and stuff. In AEW's case they don't even do house shows. Back then it was basically just like what else are we going to broadcast on our local Tennessee TV channel? Put some wrestling on it I guess, barely costs anything to point some cameras at a ring, and they were just glorified ads for the meat carnival at the local barn
