Western wrestling promotions should have gender-segregation like in Japan. And nowadays they could actually do it if they branded it as “making a show to empower women”. Gender segregation is a win-win deal, having shitty women’s wrestling only drags down western promotions, and the women won’t get better at wrestling when they have limited time to perform. With gender segregation the quality of women’s wrestling would get better and the quality of the average men’s wrestling events would too. Also the people who don’t care about women’s wrestling aren’t forced to have it shoved down their throats and gooners who only care about the women get contained.
