If you were making money off a property or it had any value to you whatsoever and you had an agreement in place to hold it for x amount of time and continue making money off of it, would you not want to make sure you keep it for the entire time agreed upon so you make the most money you can? Unless it turns out oh hey you're getting nothing out of this deal so you can just go ahead and end it early because it makes no difference anyway
