I feel weird whenever someone says they cried while watching wrestling. I've been watching wrestling since I was 2 or 3 in the 27 years of watching I never cried am I just an unsympathetic asshole?

A storyline has never really done it to me. Cody winning got me choked up a little, though.
That said, the Eddie Guerrero tributes had me crying hard as a kid. Benoit no, cause he was never my favorite. Eddie was probably my favorite wrestler at the time and one of my all time favorites, top 3 for sure. I shoot sobbed like a baby during that tribute on Raw

Same here. Only time wrestling ever made me cry was when Eddie died. But that was a real tragedy and also I was 4 years old. Then by the time Benoit died and I was 6 I was more like "That shit sucks but whatever".

I teared up a little at a Retirement match one time because the feeling in the air felt halfway between a celebration and a funeral, and no one else there seemed unaffected either.

I grew up with death. Never really knew my moms dad because he died when i was 5. Other granpa died shortly after. Same with the grandmas. Every time I have to listen to someone in their 30s cry about their maw maw crying I have to keep myself from rolling my eyes.

I've only gotten choked up twice, once for Benoit celebrating with Eddie, then 10 years later post WrestleMania XXX when Bryan got you deserve it chants. The first was because I was 7, and the second was because it all came full circle. Then he got injured and came back like 3 different times and I became fully cynical
