Plus there is built-in psychology to building up the fact that Punk can't lift Drew for the GTS. So the crowd is left wondering how Punk can win without it. Maybe he finds a way to pull it off, or he pulls out a new move, or he develops a feint GTS that leads to a roll-up or something other flash pin.
That's more interesting to me than watching Punk/Drew and waiting for Punk to hit the GTS for the win, even if he could do so.
