I don’t see how WBD could make their money back with a tv with AEW. The company is 40 BILLION in debt at the moment . The NBA leaving would mean a lot of residual advertisers would leave too. Thus making it even harder for WBD to make back their investment with pro wrestling

This is just like the FOX/WWE deal , FOX can’t make back their money with the advertisers. This is even worse because AEW is minuscule when it comes to WWE.

In other words the demo doesn’t mean shit if advertising doesn’t buy.

DESU, I think that was Tony blowing up smoke for no reason. He does want more than his current deal because the renewal was part of his grand plan for AEW to become profitable. Without that deal, it's over.
