You know how his initial reaction to the Vince poop allegations was hysterical laughter while Brian Last, despite also laughing at the ridiculousness of it, treated it as the most serious gospel since the first rabbi wrote the first letter in the first ever Torah?
And how the very next episode was devoted to making sure everyone knows it's a serious allegation that must be true so help you God, while Jim was struggling to put it over?
He's the same with the politics. I'm confident that he wouldn't be cutting promos if Brian Last didn't think it'd draw viewers (which it doesn't).
