>>14642138What's weird is that on Twitter, you can see Rovert lamenting the sad state of AEW - but the poster(s) we identify as Hogwheels here on 4chan is just as defiant as ever.
Most fans are no more obsessed about AEW than they are about playoff bubble teams each year. Going full-retard about a 10-2 NFL team (WWE) makes little sense, as does going full-retard about a 2-10 team (TNA). You'll have the homers who swear they'll run the table; you'll have the haters that want them to lose out, but that's every year in every sport, and the teams change like the weather.
When you're 6-6 (AEW), when things can go either way, when it's time to shit or get off the pot, then of course there's going to be extensive discussion about what changes need to take place. What superstars should they sign? What superstar should they trade for? - questions that make less sense for the #1 and #32 teams to be discussing. The closer you are to the middle of the pack, these are everyday discussions that fans of ALL teams will want to participate in.
AEW fan somehow has imposter syndrome and a Napoleon complex at the same time. AEW fan is irate about being Lil Bro'd by WWE, but has no problem going around Big Bro'ing TNA and NJPW. Strangest fucking thing. If they'd just roll with the punches, they wouldn't get nearly as much pushback.
