The fuck up came when he called it a debut, but also said it would be someone "walking through the forbidden door", which was an NJPW exclusive term at that point. So obviously having a former NXT guy debut would not fit the bill, so he hastily got Jay White to do a backstage segment with the Bucks and then get a match on Rampage so he wouldn't be caught lying.
