if you think its just "political" differences like whether or not illegal immigrants should have basic human rights or taking the death penalty off the table completely or issues on abortion or the environment; then you haven't been paying attention and are just as complicit as the people that let the nazi's rise to power.
Trumps "maga" army didn't start that way; it was a group of angry people who were led to believe that their way of life was getting taken from them by people who didn't deserve it (Fox News). Then those angry group of people militarized themselves with weapons and plans of kidnapping government officials and intimidating voters/witnesses.
All it took was a spark from someone who would parrot their beliefs and unify them to take control of the Supreme Court and essentially strip away any rights women have for their own body.

This isn't a political party; its a cult. These people are not thinking clearly or rationally; don't worry, its by design. Republicans are now actively "trolling" and blocking legislation just because it will make the President look bad. Not because of what their constituents want; but because their boss told them to.
There's nothing idealistically political about any of this; its all just a big temper tantrum from a dude that people were stupid enough to believe would get rid of all the (insert racist derogatory terms for any people of color) and "make america great again"
