fucking Tekken 7 came out in 2015
Tekken 8 came out a few months ago, just a few days removed from a full 9 years
all games are like this, I think the gap between BOTW and BOTW 2 was like 6 years or something. that's almost the same gap in time between ALTTP and OoT. the industry is stagnant.
it doesn't bother me much because i'm old now, and keeping up with a shit ton of games released every year would be a pain. I feel bad for the little jimmys growing up in this environment though.
