Your value is only good for so long because after enough losses a win over you isn't going to mean anything anyway. So the main purpose you had is now gone. Then you look for work elsewhere and you're not someone any fans or bookers look at with any sort of name value because you're a jobber. So you're probably putting over indie talent too and having to take bookings for way less than your non jobber peers. It's one thing if hey you're starting out somewhere and that's your spot but you eventually elevate from it. But a Barry Horowitz or a Gillberg type is fucked once they get cut unless they were really, really smart with their money. But even then what kind of merch are you getting? Doubt you're on PPVs to get any bonuses. It's definitely not the path anyone should be aiming for
