Any actual advantage 2000 had like no slowdown and no save bug is negated now with emulators/fixes, unless you just really wanna play as The Blue Meanie or Meat NM is the N64 GOAT

WM2000 doesn’t have running grapples or Japanese legends you can make through CAW’s. I prefer NM for this reason, but VPW2 is better than both.

No Mercy obviously had a shit ton of additions and improvements but I'll like WM2000 more. The roster is the biggest reason for me

Not just who was in but the eras of them too. Brood and the full Ministry. Higher Brain Pattern theme Triple H, who you could revert back to 98 DX including the entrance. On that note 98 DX altogether and not the post breakup shitty 2000 McMahon-Helmsley version that was in No Mercy. Again just goes back to me preferring 98-99 as whole over the following years

2000 was meh I found the gameplay of Smackdown 2 way better than both. But No Mercy had a fun story mode and the giant roster

Just download a N64 emulator and play the Virtual Pro Wrestling 2: Ōdō Keishō rom. It's like no mercy, but vastly superior. Same controls as no mercy, same game for the most part but takes place in late 1990s All Japan.
