Because the women are actually stepping up and making stars out of themselves. Look at Toni. She's launched the most notable full on gimmick in years. Mariah May is playing a big part in it becoming what it has too and she's got endless starpower still up her own sleeve. It's a great act and it's not a surprise they've naturally shifted to being faces with the reactions they get. That just doesn't exist for a lot of the guys there. It's just dude man wrestler a vs dude man wrestler b. I get this board isn't too big on the Copester but the guy at least knows how to be a star. Should really be positioned higher up in AEW than he is. Darby is another. Beyond that I'm not sure

AEW's female roster is full of uggos, too. Dynamite ratings are worse than the 2020 shows, so no, womeme wrestling is an anti-draw regardless. Sable and Chyna were the only exceptions and they haven't been on WWF/E TV in ages.

NBA Finals viewership was up in 2023 compared to 2020 and it's going to be up in 2024 as well. In AEW's case, demo share doesn't change with viewership. It represents a percentage. Dynamite's share should be increasing considering that very little competes against it. The declining numbers prove that AEW's presence is driving cable TV cancellations.
