I can see why you might make that assumption, but after years of seeing how TK books, it's more so that AEW doesn't know how to use talent. Plus, Cody wasn't appreciate by those fans, being booed out of their shows.

Man, AEW had such a strong start. Got itself a few well established stars, some fan favorites that had been poorly booked for years, and some promising wrestlers that hadn't been given a spotlight that size before. There were so many times they got a wrestler mega-over and every single time, they failed to capitalize on it. They got the guy over and then tossed him aside. Over and over and over again. As they did that, the number of people watching dropped, over and over and over again. Why is anyone sticking around at this point? You know that storylines will never have a satisfying conclusion and the booking will never make sense anymore.

I'm vocally anti-AEW but this is spot on.
I wanted AEW to be good. I was on board back in 2019, before Dynamite ever aired. It was hit and miss but that was to be expected. It felt like it was going somewhere.
We're about five years into this thing. The ship left port but no one knows where the hell it's going. It's not a surprise people hopped on lifeboats to try to find land on their own.
