WWE bought a stake in them, raided their talent, promised an ongoing working relationship and talent share - then sent Devitt to do one promo and ghosted them. I know Mark Dallas quite well and this so literally what happened, and he did it all in a deal where he never even met Vince. He realised after 6 months it was done specifically to stop ICW growing and he immediately regretted the one off payday. ICW hasn't recovered.
