Orton's entrance here was WAAAAY too long, and I should've read it as a sign of things to come. I wasn't against the idea of WALTER trying to work Orton's match, but the only thing Orton was selling here is the fact that he's past his prime, and not in a way that made him an underdog to make the story work - never at any point Orton came across as a credible threat, which made WALTER's attempts to work around Orton made WALTER look like not only he forgot how to dominate his opponent, but also forgot how to win or even wrestle. They built to one big WALTER chop, but it looked like shit, it was probably the least impactful WALTER chop that I can remember, then they tried to break the table, twice, and it didn't budge - even life itself was sending signals. Every step of the way WALTER was holding himself back until Orton either made a small comeback or hit an RKO so the crowd would pop. WALTER's aura was already damaged before the finish, but that goofy finish (ref 100% saw that Orton's shoulder was up, it happened right in front of him) was just hilarious. WWE found a way to make WALTER look bad, congratulations.
