>>14757794>>14758026>>14758032Holy shit this has got to be the most business exposing move I've ever seen.
A Canadian Destroyer has some kind of idea or "concept" behind (ie "is you flip fast enough and with enough force you could theoretically to a flipping piledriver). Same with Green Mists, power punches, Hogan Leg Drops and so on.
And moves such as The Worm or People's Elbow and Stinkface also has entertainment value as a concept and some kind of setup. It also at times act more like a demoralising thing that finishes a match (ie The Rock could make the pin after a Rock Bottom and get a 3 count but he chooses to finish off with the elbow. So The Rock Bottom is so devastating that he'd get a 3 count anyway even though he'd omit the elbow).
This move however. Holy shit. It has no concept. No function. No setup. It's not a wrestling move and it's not an "entertainment" move. It puts the opponent in a humiliation ritual because they have to muster every second to keep kayfabe alive and make that move look "real". There's no effort to give it credibility. It's just there, it's phoning it in. It takes no heed to make Swerve look good, the opponent and doesn't immerse the audience
IMO this right here is the epitome, the nucleus and the ultimate symbolism of wrestling being utterly dead
