Strong Style was just a marketing term Inoki used to basically claimed the way he wrestled was the best way to fight, and he proved it by paying a bunch of martial artists to lose to him. It was a lot more submission than modern western fans would tolerate, and the high spot finish would be a vertical suplex or a drop kick.
All Japan, often incorrectly called King's Road style, it would b like calling a match that was 3 minutes long, mostly punches and run ins an attitude era style match. That's where you get you head drops, power ups from.
