did they literally go out there to make sure Cody did the job? did they go out to get a personal feel of the crowd?

i don't even remember noticing them cack when this first happened or during the replays, but it's super weird if you look back realizing what just happened backstage with this story switch

then the whole time they're plugging the Thursday Las Vegas press conference which we biw know is when they decide to switch back, literally less than 7 days of a monumental swing of the biggest main event in history, it's almost eeery watching it
