Remember, this is the guy who got called up from NXT and almost got fired because he threw a tantrum thinking he was too good for the Max Dupri gimmick despite being a 40 year old never was who'd already washed out of development once. His TNA run ended because he refused to do a match with Tessa Blanchard. He's also a really shitty wrestler and constantly flubs his promos despite talking supposedly being his strong point.

On reflection my main problem with Knight is that he feels very robotic. His ring gear is also kind of cringe, very toylike. He's the perfect SlimJim champion, but as an actual character he's one-dimensional.
