For example:
Heavyweight title pays $50K bonus per month
Cruiserweight pays $40K per month
Middleweight pays $30K per month
This gives you storyline reasons for wrestlers to switch weight classes, to go after Cruiserweight instead of Heavyweight (even if they're a former HW titleholder), and so on.
In the event of a title loss:
60-day reign = automatic #1 contender match for title
120-day reign = automatic rematch
180-day reign = automatic rematch with hand-picked stipulation (ladder, cage, submission, etc)
You gain so much promo/storyline material by changing around the weight classes, paydays and perks. Also makes the rankings make much more sense as guys move between divisions.
