It's even more pathetic when you're responding to someone who makes response content, which there is little to no market for. As far as "sperging out", this is zoomer dickhead talk. You take words you don't understand the meaning or connotation of and you apply it to EVERYTHING and EVERYONE who disagrees with you. You will simultaneously accuse people of being alcoholics and meth addicts, of being incels and being cucks. It's nonsense.
That said, if you are an expert in a field, and you make content about said field, it's nearly impossible for you to "sperg out". That's usually reserved for random losers who make content based on topics they have no experience in, never made a dime doing it, none of the above. Some fat dickhead with a fedora making a 20 minute video about how the new Call of Duty SUX and is a money grab--that's sperging out. Someone who has made millions of dollars over a multiple decade career, bemoaning the current state of the industry while highlighting specific problems and outlining ways to fix them, with some hyperbole and performative outrage mixed in, is not sperging out.
I don't agree with Cornette on everything, his political opinions in particular are rife with contradictions, but there's no market for Cornette response videos. It's even harder when his YouTube videos are just a still image with audio, and harder still when the person making the 'response' is some fag who uses an avatar/screenshot instead of their own face. Still image with audio responding to a still image with audio....yeah, that'll put butts in seats.
