I mean, a bit of in-ring silliness on an opening or midcard match? Yeah, that's all in good fun. I love Yano, Black Mensore, Fukigen, and Saki Kashima to death. I expect it with them, I guess. But when it gets to the top of the card or exists to create "big moments" it's a bit too much for me.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I mostly just want to watch people wrestle well-built matches that are well structured and have sound psychology. I try to be fair in calling out excessiveness wherever I see it.
