WWE is “fumbling big name talent”

No.14791276 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Per Wrestle Universe:
>Much has been made of AEW signing Mercedes, Ospreay, and Okada in short notice while WWE failed to secure any free agents who hadn’t already been a part of AEW already. Internally, there’s now a concern that WWE is “fumbling” some of its biggest stars, including many of these same AEW stars.
>Jade Cargill has been reduced to working preshows, something she never did while under the AEW umbrella. Shawn Spears has been turned into a jobber to the stars. Andrade is wrestling on X in Speed matches, not making TV. And Lexis King, despite a strong start, now just feels like another random talent with 50/50 booking.
>That’s not even mentioning much of the homegrown WWE talent, many of whom are “irritated” at the way TV time is doled out in the HHH era. When we spoke to one former world champion, they mentioned that there’s a distinct “lack of respect” for some of the bigger names in the company, and that HHH “doesn’t realize what he’s doing” in regards to booking. One female talent told us she was “pissed off” at the current state of her booking as her ideas have been consistently shut down when she pitched them.
>There’s also concern that Becky Lynch may be leaving the company, although she’s unlikely to do so. However, one anonymous source told us it’s “insane this even got this far” and says it doesn’t bode well for other talents who have upcoming contract negotiations.
