>>14801337>NXT would be for growing inexperienced talent.>TNA would be for indie talent.this would make sense were it not for the fact that NXT has a soon-to-be network TV deal with the CW. And the CW paid for the NXT brand, not the TNA brand. It's almost like WWE would use TNA's TV-ready talents to beef up the CW presentation, and in return, TNA becomes the new version of "LVL Up" to NXT on CW: lower level NXT people go on an excursion to Impact.
But even in that scenario, its WWE doing TNA a massive favor for increased exposure with no immediate monetary reward for them. And paying Anthem to license the TNA library isn't enough incentive.
I could see:
Anthem sells TNA (copyrights and tape library and wrestler contracts) to WWE
WWE rolls TNA contracts into NXT deals.
Younger prospects get prepped for NXT on the CW; old TNA vets get bought out with a 90 day severance or renegotiate to be low level player-coaches
Anthem still to be the broadcast home for "TNA Impact" on AXS TV and the Fight Network Canada & International; Anthem gets a payout from WWE and then immediately pays back WWE with a license fee for the TV shows.
TNA Impact is now TNA in name only; its pre-taped, taped from the PC, mainly young NIL trainees + low level guys from TNA acting as player coaches. Show is padded out with clips & highlights of WWE stars in their TNA days.
Its basically what NXT UK's TV show was to NXT
