I just started watching wrestling again and this shit is fucking epic. The lyrics reflects his time in AEW & how he built his own "Kingdom". He left & got a top spot in the top place. "MY FATHER SAID" references his father (Dusty Rhodes). I am legit getting goosebump's watching his win for the first time tonight. WWE is good again

I usually only listen to Something to wrestle with & even bruce & conrad said Cody is great

I wonder if Dustin is comming to WWE next? Thoughts on Cody?

Am I the only one who thinks the "I'm home" part sounds awkwardly edited? It almost sounds like it should say "lights go up for me" based on the rhythm of "get them off their feet".

It feels super strange and out of place listening to it.

It's not straight AB rhyming. Home rhymes with Whoa and the first feet part is meant to stop there to emphasize the pacing and seperate the two parts in your head. Almost like there is a pause for the character as they take things in and then keep moving forward, as Cody does in his entrance.

AEW is really struggling to build natural babyfaces right now though, Swerve was a heel who got turned face by the audience, Toni Storm is a heel who's getting turned face by the crowd, MJF... yeah you get the picture.
