Reminder that CM Punk was equally as frail physically as he was emotionally and didn't last long enough to have any sustainable feud beyond his first few months. Tellingly enough he's been back with WWE for 6 months and has had zero televised matches while his only attempted feud in the last half a year is being carried by another previously injured man. If we're saying AEW fumbled with Punk then WWE's yet to even get the ball off the ground

You had a very small window to actually book this match because of all the time they missed. Would have had to have been All In or All Out last year. The Bucks were too pussy to work with Punk until their dumb 6 month thing was over. Kenny should have feuded with Punk in the meantime

It's especially crazy considering how AEW bent over backwards to make sure he got his big world title win in Chicago and tried to keep the belt on him despite his injury and he still complains about Mox beating him, which was a great decision in hindsight since Mox had to be champion again after Punk left.

They have one. With McIntyre. That's all he's involved in right now

The entire point of a feud or a promo is to build towards and sell a match. So yes the fact that he hasn't even had one proper match outside of house shows in 6 whole months since they brought him back is a pretty valid issue
