Wrestling fans have been repeatedly kicked out of spaces on 4chan until /pw/ was created in 2021. You know what that means? /pw/ is a containment board. The moderators do not give half a shit about the quality of a containment board. Combating the spam of people who have a vast amount of VPN's is an incredibly daunting task, and even when they extend the effort to do so it can be ineffective (for example the /v/idya butts poster). The shit flinging between rape fanfiction spammers and console warriors is low on their priorities.
The quality of this board boils down to what weirdo fuck is the janitor at any given time. They're the ones that take down posts and alert the moderators which posters to ban, because none of the moderators browse the wrestling board themselves.
The position of janitor is unpaid, unlike a moderator position. They are expected to be on this board every day routinely to monitor it for the moderators for free. 4chan promises that you can become a paid moderator by starting out as a janitor and being promoted from there, but that rarely happens. Most are booted from the position after around a year. There is absolutely no reward to being the /pw/ janitor other than having a minuscule fraction of power on a very specific crevice of the internet. This is why they're always autistic weirdos and waifufags that are more concerned with exerting their authority over the side they don't like than making the board a better place. There's no incentive for them to do that.
