He destroyed the entire American wrestling ecosystem in the process so I don't know why you would feel bad for him. The territory system was a great way for talent to develop and it also gave American fans a product that was more catered to them locally. Vince ruined all of that and left us with nothing but corpo goyslop sports entertainment bullshit, wrestling will never recover from the damage he did to it.
