I'm not crediting Tony with every creative failure in the company, I'm saying that he's not a strong creative voice, and outside of some broad strokes stuff (like when titles change hands, etc.), I don't think he contributes much in the way of ideas at all.
Let me put it this way, I've never once heard a wrestler say "That was Tony's idea, isn't it great?". Plenty of wrestlers in AEW have praised Tony, but it's almost universally from the perspective "He lets us do what we want/He doesn't place restrictions on us."
