Honestly, on one hand, I get it. As it is now, WWE is TOO stacked with stars. Which, from a company point, is pretty good! "Oh no, we're overflowing with all these great talent people want to see! How horrible!"
But there's only so many belts. It's kind of like a reverse attitude era, where most of the stars are legitimately main event worthy or getting there. I mean how the fuck do you have a roster with the likes of:
>La Knight>Cody>Roman (on leave)>Jey (with charisma, questionable wrestling)>Gunther>Rhea>Drew>Punk>Sheamus>Strowman>Ilja>Ricochet>Rey>AJ>Bobby Lashley>Kofi>Bianca>Bayley>Asuka>Kairi>Iyo>Sami>Gable>Otis>Kevin Owens>RANDY ORTON FOR GODS SAKE>Miz>R-Truth>Seth RollinsAnd NOT just be fucking cranking out BANGERS on the weekly? I mean, they found a way, but my point stands. Like this is THE most stacked roster WWE has ever had, and it's objectively true. Attitude had giants like Rock and Austin, but these guys are only a few steps behind. Then you got all those people, and that's not even including people I DIDN'T list! Ones with potential talent like Breakker, Bronson, Ivar, Chelsey, Naomi (as long as she ditches the kween shit), Jade Midcardgill (see Naomi), Nia Jax (who has been slowly improving), Ilja, Lyra, Karrion, Liv Morgan, Tozawa, Damien Priest, and THEN you got the jobbers who either have failed to prove themselves or have yet to. It's like the reverse of AE where there is TOO much competition. And then you, a certifiably badass wrestler, get stuck with some...fucking online social media belt? I'd feel insulted, personally. I want TV time, not to be a fucking 5 minute burner while someone's on their 15 minute break at work. So I can somewhat understand how he might be frustrated.
