I was kind of white trash and my dad had a pile of aluminum siding just sitting there so I grabbed a hunk and swung it. In my head I figured it’d be like a baseball bat but it was sharp as hell and cut my friend from his forehead down to his neck. He scared me when he screamed and I tossed the aluminum at him which cut him on his chest, although not nearly as bad.
My mom was drunk at the time and couldn’t drive us to the hospital so she called an ambulance and my friend started passing out while we waited.
He lived but he had to get stitches and his one eyebrow had a huge gap in it for as long as I knew him.
My mom didn’t care and my dad was barely home, but my friend wasn’t allowed to come over any more and his mom kind of turned all the other parents against mine and convinced them we were a nuisance.
