>>14919360I do agree that there's a lot of tribalism that doesn't need to exist. But it's very important to point out that Tony Khan has done so much to stoke it. Which he could get away with when his show was new, and WWE was terrible and people were more forgiving of the new kid in town. But now that WWE is doing great and Tony's show isn't, that's why WWE fans are taking so much pleasure in its downfall. NWA sucks too but WWE fans don't go out of their way to shit on it, because Billy Corgan doesn't pretend his company is so much better than WWE, and NWA fans don't bitch and whine about WWE's success all day.
I also don't agree that we should just support all wrestling companies. If the product sucks, then it's a good thing if it fails. That means the market has naturally decided that this product isn't doing what it needs to do, and the resources and talent being used for AEW could be used elsewhere. I think Tony Khan has a very talented roster, but Tony Khan doesn't know how to put a show together. The sooner AEW fails, the better as far as I'm concerned.
