Commentary sold this as Uemura intentionally interrupting an enzuigiri attempt, since successfully hitting one would've gotten him DQ'd under the match rules. It looks more like a flip-out to me though. Looks cool either way, in my opinion.

I really loved how much the match leaned into the shooter catch stuff. Kind of has to, with the ruleset, but I think O-Khan and Shingo's MMA rules match was one of the worst matches I've seen in NJPW, so it wasn't a given. Hope there's more coming.
