Worse than that. Jeff had walked out in the middle of the card, and cultists were all saying how epic of a work it was, refusing rehab when WWE offered it. Only for him to end up in this position again. Just fucking L's all around.

His debut was the only big moment he had. Then he was just there, barely used, with no importance whatsoever. The match in Matt Hardy's ranch was cool though.
What a waste. It's crazy when you think how HUGE he was back in 2009 in WWE, but well, time goes too fast, and also Tony doesn't know what to do with all his toys.

Jeff's match with Darby was so good it justified him signing with AEW. Everything else was a completely forgettable waste of time though. 8/10 because it resulted in a good match which is an extreme rarity in AEW.

I used to be a mark for him. Pop wherever he goes and ignored his issues. Considered him hero 'cause of his creativity, and leap of faith kind of things. But his time in AEW made me realize that even if he's given full control of everything he will find ways to fuck it up and as long as Matt Hardy uses him as trophy that will make himself afloat Jeff's gonna be just a lost cause.
