I'd probably do what Drew did. Since Damian was the champ he couldn't win the title if he left him trapped.

Untangle him, throw in a few kicks while he's helpless pretty much as Drew did.
Work the leg for the rest of the match. Maybe he does a spot where he tries to do some move but his leg gives out.
Ultimately make people confused as to if it was a botch or a work all along.

Drew pretty much did the best anyone could do. And kudos to the both of them for working it into the match after. I'm sure it helped that it shoot hurt, but a lot of shitters nowadays have no instincts and would insist on getting their same shit in.
