imagine if Cody Rhodes didn't win at Wrestlemania 40 and instead the story kept going through to Wrestlemania 53. Then King of the Ring starts taking place for a European title match and in the first round, Cody goes 30 minutes back and forth with some no name jobber and barely scrapes a win.

Then at WM54, it's a 2 out of 3 falls match, Cody leads 1-0, then just stops all offence. Then his opponent scores the next fall, it's 1-1, then Cody substitutes himself for 3 young African American gentlemen who do a reverse 1992, get squashed and lose.
