This. Imagine a story leaks before the show about McIntyre heading home. The marks would be talking all night and even the cynics might raise an eyebrow. This was beyond amateur in this day and age of a so called "reality era." He's clearly taking time to go be with his wife. If he went off script and said "Fuck", then WBD would be hesitant to allow him to have a live mic on AEW programming. It could cause the program to be on a 10 second or longer delay delay, require AEW to pay the extra production costs to hire more censors, and so on. It would become a major headache to hire him.
