Why is modern wrestling so devoid of big names

No.14991671 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
10-15 years ago I could've named you a whole slew of dream wrestling rivalries I'd love to see. These days I'd struggle to name even five. No one but a handful of guys in the industry feel important and they're all full time in the WWE anyway so it's bound to happen at some point.
Not trying to console war here but the secondary fed doesn't even have the TNA thing going for them where they have a few megastars like Angle and Sting you hope would debut in the big leagues or, god forbid, a star studded WCW roster. Not many huge guys on hiatus either like you had a while back where there was always hope Goldberg would come back to the WWE or Sting would sign and debut or fucking Lesnar coming back to pro wrestling etc. and Rock and Cena have already returned so many times it stopped being interesting. What happened?
