>>14996674Frankly, I think even in 2021 AEW wasn't very good. There was some good stuff about it. Some good matches, MJF's promos were really entertaining. But there was still a lot of cringe stuff even back then, and I think NXT was the way better show. But AEW was the shiny new toy and people wanted it to save us from Vince, so they overlooked the glaring flaws. But now it's become impossible to ignore, and WWE fans don't feel the need to seek out an alternative anymore.
