Was the real reason why the Elite didn't want to work with Punk because all of the elite suck on the mic?

None of them would actually be able to stand up to him in promos and the elite know they would have been completely exposed

Because specifically The Bucks are massive dorks that couldn't even hack it in TNA. The only way they could ever get pushed as main eventers was riding Kenny and Cody's coattails to meeting the Money Mark, getting a massive, undeserved contract, and creative control over their booking. Same with Hangman. They should be slumming it in GCW.

That's 3 guys that never learned proper match psychology or how to cut a decent promo to save their lives. That's why they had to chase Punk out. Punk was gaining influence over Tony and they were going to lose their spots and creative control.

Like literally everything that has ever happened, the reason for all of that fallout was a combination of every factor going on at the time. The biggest being that Tony refused to handle a situation that could have been settled with a 3 minute meeting, and then left it unresolved while it became the most interesting thing about the entire company and still he never made any effort to sort the problem out.
The Bucks and Punk were friends prior to aew and they would likely be friends again now. Hangman, less so.

Nah, that's unfair. They are capable of working properly, they just don't.
They wrestle as if they are huge monsters that should be able to kick out of everything and, simultaneously, like they are acrobats. It's jarring and pointless. They push a style where everyone does everything without any reason besides getting cheap pops and Meltzer stars. As a result, the shows make no sense and feel repetitive and pointless. They are capable of doing their jobs properly but they would rather larp as double hogan parodies that run the audience off.
